Hop in your travel trailer and head to a different part of Texas this Independence Day to see the best fireworks! Sunscreen, watermelon, BBQ and fireworks are just a few ways we like to celebrate Independence Day. But as you know, Texas does it bigger and better, especially when it comes to Fourth of July! Here are some places in Texas to view fireworks this 4th of July wherever your traveling takes you.

July Jubilee at Little Elm Park

Just east of Denton, Little Elm, Texas offers a fabulous vacation spot on the Lewisville Lake. This town knows how to end 4th of July with a bang (literally)! Little Elm’s July Jubilee offers live music, camping, grilling, swimming and lots of vendors. Fireworks are scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. so make sure to grab your lawn chairs and find the perfect spot before then.

Fort Worth’s Fourth at Panther Island Pavilion

Looking for an entire day filled with 4th of July festivities? Look no further because Forth Worth’s Fourth offers it all. The event starts at 2 p.m. and offers FREE horseback riding, face painting, tubing, bounce houses, zip lining, water slides and live bands. Leading up to the largest fireworks show in North Texas, there will be a F-16 Flyover at 8 p.m. and an after-dark hydro flight shows at 9:30 p.m. Fireworks start at 10 p.m. and are sure to woo the entire crowd.

Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration in Corpus Christi

It’s like practically watching fireworks from your own backyard for the Corpus folks. Corpus Christi offers a fabulous 4th of July weekend line-up from baseball to the USS Lexington. So many places on the water offer exclusive views of the firework show, but none compare to watching the fireworks from the Flight Deck of the USS Lexington Museum, the Texas State Aquarium or on the sand at Burleson Beach Park. With loads of events going on all weekend long, your family will be sure to create wonderful summer memories on the Corpus Christi Bay.

H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks in Austin

Austin’s biggest and baddest firework show. The Austin Symphony Orchestra will perform patriotic classics at 8:30 p.m. to remind folks what Independence Day is really all about at the Vic Mathias Shores. After this fabulous performance, “mile-high” fireworks will be launched for all to see in downtown Austin. This will be the 43rd Annual July 4th Concert and Fireworks so this show is practically run by professionals.

City of Fredericksburg July 4th Fireworks Display

Fredericksburg has activities and events lined-up throughout the entire day, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The city is offering an Independence Day parade, a chili cook-off, wine tasting, night golf and star gazing at Enchanted Rock! Fireworks are scheduled to fly at the Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park at 9:30 p.m. so you'll need to prep for the long day of celebration! Fredericksburg allows food and drinks while watching the firework show so be sure to pack your favorite snacks!

4th on the Brazos in Waco

This free event offers a family-friendly atmosphere around the Baylor University campus in Waco, Texas. Besides the firework show, the big draw towards this event is the Waco Corn Dog Classic Eating Competition. I'm sure your kiddos will be begging to sign-up!! There will be live music, amazing food trucks and an awesome opportunity to see the firework show on the Brazos.

Fireworks at Fairgrounds in Johnson City

Looking for a relaxing 4th of July without the crowds? This is the firework show for you and your family. Johnson City is hosting an Independence Day parade at 10 a.m. along with face painting, a washer pitching contest, kids area and fireworks at dark. Make sure to head over to the Blanco County Fairgrounds a little before dark to get the best view in town.
